Shipping & Returns

Shipping and Handling: Buyers pay shipping by USPS Priority Mail, or UPS Ground. Insurance required for all Pay-Pal purchases. Items will be shipped when Pay-Pal deposits payments in my account (1-3 days).
Multiple purchases will always be combined where possible and any overcharge for shipping will be refunded.

NOTE: The shipping estimator is just that an estimate. If there are any additional charges because of the size of shipping carton I will notify you. Rocky Mountain Trains does not make money on shipping. We do business in a fair and ethical manner. We have been in business for over 10 years, value your business and will refund any shipping overcharge.

Returns: If you are not satisfied, you may return the model within 10 (ten) days. I will either repair or refund your money (minus shipping costs) at my option. Please contact me prior to returning the model. The model must be returned to me in the same condition which it was sent. If you modify, paint, alter or damage the model in any way, the warranty will be void. If the model is damaged in shipment, please contact me as soon as possible so I may contact the shipping service. You may incur a restocking fee of 15% depending on the reason for return

As-Is: Items may be not be returned. Please purchase "As-Is" items with the understanding that the item is damage and in need of repair. Non-factory electronics such as lights, sound, command control, etc, are not covered under Rocky Mountain Trains satisfaction guarantee policy for repair

If paid by check, the check will be held for 7 business days before the item is shipped.
There is a $1 charge for shipping materials.

Not responsible for delays in shipping caused by Customs Inspections.
